# Colophon Type: Page Canonical: https://www.aaronroot.net/colophon This site is a small Next.js application backed by Markdown files in the repository. Journal entries are written as plain text first, then rendered into quiet HTML pages. The design uses a narrow set of templates, system-minded spacing, and two typefaces: Inter for interface text and EB Garamond for longer editorial moments. There is no analytics script, comment widget, or third-party tracking layer. Images are served as ordinary files, and every page includes a raw text view for simpler reading, quoting, and archiving. The standards that shape this site are public. They cover [how it is written](https://www.aaronroot.net/docs/writing-style), [how the design holds together](https://www.aaronroot.net/docs/design-principles), [how it is built](https://www.aaronroot.net/docs/technical-guidance), and [how changes are reviewed](https://www.aaronroot.net/docs/review-checklist). ## For readers and agents Canonical pages are written for people. Raw routes expose the same material as plain text, Markdown-style pages for reading tools, quoting, archiving, and LLM context. The journal also has an RSS feed, and raw journal entries can include graph context when a piece has useful conceptual connections. - [Raw site index](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw) - [Raw about page](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw/about) - [Raw colophon](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw/colophon) - [Raw journal index](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw/journal) - [Raw clippings index](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw/clippings) - [Raw quotes index](https://www.aaronroot.net/raw/quotes) - [LLM manifest](https://www.aaronroot.net/llms.txt) - [Journal RSS feed](https://www.aaronroot.net/feed.xml)
